River View Deluxe King Cabin #21

The cabins were a great find! Such a hidden gem with close proximity to everything I was needing to do in town, and would highly recommend to anybody else looking for a quick get-a-way trip!

Great location! Right on the river. Clean! Beautiful sunset. Our dogs loved the porch and walking trail along the river. Easy check in. Great food nearby. We will be back!

We stayed one night in cabin #21. Good communication from management regarding out "contact free" check-in. Accessed the room with no issues using the email instructions. Room was clean and included everything you might expect from a room in this price range. Nice view of the river from our balcony. Keep in mind, these are duplex units, so you share the balcony with your direct neighbor with a sliding wooden door separating you. Luckily, no one rented the other side while we were there, so it was very quiet and peaceful. Two things keep me from giving this a 5-star rating: The fan unit inside the room from the mini-split is in desperate need of service as it makes a very loud sound during operation that is not normal. I used to sell mini-splits and know what they should sound like. Also saw a guest complaint about this same fan noise in room's guest book from 5 months earlier so this is an ongoing issue. Second - room's overnight rate was fair but separate $50 clean fee is excessive and takes overall cost, with usual taxes added in, to a level I don't think I'd pay again for a duplex unit. It would need to be a private cottage for this overall price range. If you're sharing the other side with friends/family, it wouldn't be an issue. Overall - nice room, well-kept grounds, good view of river with noisy AC fan in need of service and pushing the price limits for a duplex unit.
